The Greater Yuma Port Authority currently owns ~110 unimproved acres near the San Luis II Commercial port within the Magrino Industrial Park. In early 2019, in a joint effort with the City of San Luis, there was a 790 linear foot water line extension that connected the existing water line from the Industrial park to complete a full loop to a 12' main, thus allowing greater and more efficient output of water to accommodate future develops within the park.
Water, sewer and power are available for the areas west of avenue D on Vaughn Avenue and as future users move into the area, expand our footprint into the undeveloped areas. Unfortunately, at the moment, natural gas is not available. This is currently a project that the staff at City of San Luis Economic development are working towards, and hope to hear a positive outcome from the Feasibility study whose RFP was released in April of this year.
